Timeless Tuesday Butterfly

Good morning and welcome back to another Timeless Tuesday challenge.
This weeks hostess is Cindy, and she is asking us to create a card or project with a Butterfly on it.

I really love butterflies and Flourishes has a few stamp sets with them, but I chose the butterfly from the "Butterflies and Blossoms" set. I love the full wings this butterfly has :)

When I used a butterfly from Flourishes "Butterflies and Blossoms" stamp set stamped in Memento "Rich Cocoa" onto Flourishes "Ivory" cardstock, that I colored in and heat embossed it many times for that muted antique look. I cut out the butterfly and popped it up on popdots. I stamped the flowers from the "Butterflies and Blossoms" in Memento "Desert Sand" onto a cicular diecut that I also popped up on popdots. I used some patterned paper and a decorative diecut, a May Arts "Ivory" Silk Ribbon bow and some bling.

Timeless Tuesday BINGO

Good Morning! It's time for another fun Timeless Tuesday, again!
This weeks Timeless Tuesday's hostess is Heather and she is challenging everyone to create a card using the BINGO method. Every time I hear the word BINGO, I think "..And Bingo was his Name-O!" Be careful, that song can get stuck in your head :)
Here is the fun Bingo card with choices for us to choose from.
I chose: Pink, Ribbon and Diecut.

I used Flourishes "Feminine Charm" I stamped in Memento "Rich Cocoa" onto an oval diecut, that I placed over some patterned paper I stitched around. I am using May Arts "White" Silk Ribbon that I placed a couple hat pins in.

Timeless Tuesday: Your Favorite Stamp

Good Morning! This week it's my turn as hostess of the Timeless Tuesday challenge. This week is: Use Your Favorite Flourishes Stamp Set! Simple as that! I know I have a few that are pretty near and dear to my heart as being the first sets I purchased from Flourishes, but I really love the "With Gratitude" set from Flourishes FLIP Loyalty Program.

Growing up in the country, we had a huge field of Black Eyed Susans (Echinacea) and Shasta Daisies behind our house. I loved their colors so bright, bold and stunning among the daisies :) This set reminds me of those fun days playing in the fields of flowers :)

For my card I chose Flourishes "With Gratitude" set from their FLIP Loyalty program. It's stamped in  Memento Tuxedo Black on Flourishes "Classic Ivory" cardstock, then I cut it all out with my craft knife. The sentiment is from Flourishes "Tiny Flowers and Tags" set. For the background, I stamped Flourishes new "Antique Lace"  in Memento "Desert Sand" on a Spellbinders "Labels #21" . Then I framed my flowers with a cut out Spellbinders "Labels #20" placed over my image. I finished everything with some pearls to add some elegance.

Release Week Sneak Peak Hello Baby!

Welcome back to day three of Flourishes Release Week Sneak Peaks!! Today is Flourishes "Hello Baby" sneak Peak, and I loved this set from the moment I set eyes on it!

This set is so versatile! You have so many options with this stamp set! There are some sentiments with a cute onesie and baby booties, and my favorite - the clothesline :) I can just hear the little bird nestled in the tree, happily tweeting away :)

I used the "Oh Baby" set that I die cut out placing in on an embossed background over Kraft paper. Iwatercolored it all colored in with Distress Inks using Vintage Photo, Tea DyeForrest Moss, Peeled Paint, Tumbled Glass and Dusty Concord. I sponged around the edges with Scattered Straw and Antique Linen Distress Inks. I added a button and tied it all up with a Solid White Wrinkled ribbon.

Sneak Peak Day Two: Botanical Blossoms

Welcome back to day two of Flourishes Release Week Sneak Peaks!! It's only day two, are you excited as I am with Flourishes April's Release? Today's sneak peak is called Botanical Blossoms 2 and it's every bit as lovely as the first set!

These stamp images conjure up every summer's day watching flowers bob their heads in the wind. And smelling their sweet fragrance in the wind! Each bookplate is detailed and just perfect for a large or a small handmade note card. The sentiments are varied and perfect for almost every occasion!

I used Flourishes "Botanical Blossoms" stamping it out then cutting around my image with my craft knife. I layered my card with Flourishes "Classic Ivory" cardstock. I used a Spellbinders "Fancy Tag" turned sideways that I stamped on, to show my sentiment from the Botanical Blossoms set.

Love and Lace and Antique Lace

Welcome To Flourishes April Release Week, day one peaks!! This is my first Release Week, so please excuse my excitement and pardon my mistakes :)  Today's peak's are extra special, because Flourishes has TWO to show off this morning and oh my, are they gorgeous!

The first one is called "Love and Lace". What a lovely mother and child silhouette!!

The next one is called "Antique Lace".  Isn't it dreamy?

The bold silhouette of a mother holding her baby with a beautiful lace wreath to surround her, just melts my heart. Every sentiment included really speaks from the heart. And the perfect pairing is the "Antique Lace" background. It's so soft and dainty that you can almost feel the texture of lace when you stamp it! It's a large enough stamp to create the perfect backdrop for the "Love and Lace" set :)

I used the  "Love and Lace" as my focal point image and the "Antique Lace" background stamp behind it. I stamped everything on Flourishes "Classic White" cardstock, that I embossed with Spellbinders "Flourish" embosser. I used some pearls and diecuts, then finished the card by tying a pretty Maya Arts "White" ribbon around it.

Would you like a chance to win these Beautiful stamp sets? All you need to do is leave some blog love in the form of comments to the blogs below! Why? Because one of us is the mystery blogger and she will be picking from her blog comments today! We don't know who it will be so the more blogs you leave comments on, the more chances you have to win!

Timeless Tuesday Be Fruitful

Good Morning! This weeks Timeless Tuesday hostess is Mona, and she is challenging us to create a card with Fruit.
I am so excited to pull out a stamp set close to my heart. I am using Flourishes "Strawberries" set. This set was in my very first order I placed to Flourishes, so it is one of my most treasured sets!

I used Flourishes "Strawberries" set with Flourishes "Classic White" cardstock and some patterned  papers. I added Zva "Taupe" Pearl Swirls and a big bow, using May Arts "White" silk ribbon with a butterfly charm.

I love the Flourishes cardstock, it is perfect for using Copic markers on it, and getting a clear impression when you stamp. It is a luxurious European cardstock and it is a beautiful heavy weight that comes in two beautiful and crisp colors: "Classic White" and "Ivory". They are so nice I even use it for layering and on my card bases, as I did on this card, I love them so much!

Timeless Tuesday and Some Exciting News!

Good morning everyone :)

If you read the post Sunday from Flourishes HERE, you already know my exciting news! Or if you have just arrived and don't know, I was recently invited to be a member of Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Design Team! I am so excited and honored to have been asked, I have been using their stamps for two years now and I even dreamed of being on their team one day! Still can't believe they asked me and I'm still in shock but excited to get started so let's begin, shall we?

This weeks Timeless Tuesday hostess is Beate and her challenge is to create a Birthday Card. I decided to create a pretty blue feminine card, keeping it soft.

I used Flourishes "Feminine Charm" stamp set with some blue papers and pearls. I embellished my card with May Arts "Light Blue" silk ribbon and Webster's Pages "Ladies and Gents" fabric ticket and a flower.

I am in love with the May Arts silk ribbon, I've never felt anything like it! It is so soft and silky, it will give you those big delicious voluminous bows you have always wanted. You will probably be seeing more of these ribbons in my future cards they are so pretty :)

Here are links to the rest of the team for more wonderful Flourishes inspirations.
